Guatrau’s Hero Ring

Introduced in Caprica‘s pilot, the Guatrau (portrayed by Jorge Montesi) is the leader of the Ha’la’tha crime syndicate on Caprica. As we later learn, he is not from Tauron but is himself a Caprican, and this becomes a point of contention for the Adamas later on.

The Guatrau’s importance to the overall plot of Caprica is not lost on many, for he is not only responsible for saving both Joseph and Sam Adama from a refugee camp (after young Sam had tried to pick his pocket) but also for distributing the U-87 Cyber Combat Units to the Soldiers of the One monotheist terrorist group.

This ring is the hero ring used by the actor in his portrayal as the Guatrau. This gold metal ring features Chinese characters on the front and is men’s size 8. It will be available in our Caprica auctions that begin in January 2011.
